Hummingbirds Nursery
Hummingbirds Cottage in Hinton Ampner
Following several years of hard work and planning, we are proud to announce that Hummingbirds Cottage will be opening in January 2027!
This is a beautiful cottage in Hinton Ampner which has been carefully renovated into a nursery specifically for babies from 6 months to 2 years before they move on to Hummingbirds. Our experienced team will be moving across to the cottage, ensuring our core values and ethos will be maintained across the 2 settings.
The building is comprised of 2 main play-spaces, an art room and a sleeping room. Onsite we have our own kitchen facilities and all food is cooked from fresh.
Directly opposite we have access to the Hinton Ampner National Trust estate, perfect for exploring nature. As well as a garden for babies, we have an area specifically designed for the older Hummingbirds children to visit on their walks. Taking inspiration from forest school, this area will be a base to stop and rest, as well as having large climbing equipment to improve gross motor skills.
